The Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection is committed to making its websites accessible in accordance with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) as amended, transposing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (OJ L 327, 2.12.2016, p.1).
The wohnschirm.at website was created in spring 2022 and extensively revised in May 2025.

This website is largely compliant with conformance level AA of the „Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Web – WCAG 2.2“ or with the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1.
The Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection always endeavors to provide information that is as accessible as possible. The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
- Incompatibility with accessibility regulations after re-evaluation in May 2025, no relevant problem areas were identified.
- The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation Content from third parties, such as brochures, documents, forms, maps and videos from other organizations that are not within the sphere of influence of the Federal Ministry are excluded from Directive (EU) 2016/2102. No statement can be made regarding the compatibility of this third-party content with accessibility regulations.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This declaration was published on July 25th 2022 and last updated on May 26th 2025.
The assessment of the website’s compliance with the WZG to implement the requirements of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 was carried out in the form of an external audit in accordance with WCAG 2.1 at conformity level AA in April 2022 and February 2023 and in May 2025 in accordance with WCAG 2.2 conformity level AA. The start page and one subpage were audited. The web editorial team regularly checks individual page content when new content is published.

Enforcement procedure
If you do not receive a satisfying response from the above contact option, you can submit a complaint to the Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung (FFG) (Austrian Agency for the Promotion of Research).. The FFG accepts complaints electronically via the contact form on its website.

Complaints are examined by the FFG to determine whether they relate to violations of the provisions of the Web Accessibility Act, in particular deficiencies in compliance with the accessibility requirements, by the federal government or an institution attributable to it.
If the complaint is justified, the FFG must make recommendations for action to the federal government or the legal entities concerned and propose measures to remedy the deficiencies.
